Classes are $20/session. Tuition includes the Smarty Pant Support Kit, which are practice activities for your child to use at home to maximize their learning and retain what they are learning in class. Activities are easy to use and will be emailed to you. They are yours to keep forever, and you can come back to them if your child needs a bit of a refresher.
There will be a one time materials cost of $20, which will include the cost of the binder materials and some end of the semester goodies! This is added to the first month payment or the semester payment.
Tuition is paid on an equal payment system. The total number of classes for the year (minus holidays, etc.) will be totaled and then divided by 4 months, giving you the same payment every month. Monthly tuition payments will be $75/month after the initial payment, which includes the materials fee. Please note that your first payment is required at the time of registration to hold your spot. If the class does not have enough students registered to have the class, your money will be refunded immediately. Your next payment will not be due until March 1st. :-) You also have the option to pay for the semester in full.
***Semester Pay in Full Bonus: If you pay for the semester in full, you will receive a complimentary private tutoring session to be used between now and August 2017 (current value of $75) OR you can receive a credit in that amount towards a literacy screening session ($200 currently). A literacy screening session is what I conduct before I begin Orton-Gillingham tutoring with a student to determine their strengths and gaps in skills in the areas of phonemic awareness, alphabetic knowledge, decoding, spelling, reading (sentence or passage level) and writing (sentence or passage level). Once the screening is completed, we can use the results to determine support that would be helpful for your child, such as tutoring (even if it is not though me) or to look over your homeschooling curriculum to determine if it is the best support for your child and whether supplemental lessons/materials would be appropriate. This screening includes a session with the parent to discuss the results and review any homeschool materials if needed.
If alternate arrangements need to be made, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
